no more tears: man, i cried so much today... today's was my friend's mom's funeral. she was like a mom to all of our friends in high school. saw some high school friends i haven't seen in years. hardly anybody changed on the outside. anyways, this was my 2nd funeral and it was painful to think of their family but at the same time it was great to see how strong the lee family is too. everybody else cried more than them. they were making jokes while everybody else was smiling through the tears. what a great family. :*) i saw "monster" yesterday b/c tommy said i should. :) dang is charlize theron UGLY in there. i kept trying to look for scenes where she looked even a speck beautiful, but nope. she was just this ugly, ugly, thing the whole time. amazing. and she definitely deserved the oscar. how any actress can play a part like that or like hilary swank's "boys don't cry" performance is beyond my comprehension. both movies are hard to watch at times (more so for "boys"), but i think since they're both based on true stories, it just makes it more powerful. went to my 2nd math class last night. man this prof is ANAL. & i mean it with all CAPS. she has a point system. come in 15 min late? -2 pts. come in 16+ min late? -3 pts. no supplies including MINI STAPLER to staple in hw? -3 pts. absent? -6 pts. geez, am i in high school or something?? i tried to understand some of her "anal-ness" b/c i like to be organized too, but she goes overboard with it. crazy. my parents are coming back from vancouver tomorrow. wow, this week went by so fast without them. but i'm happy for them to come back. i want my new car, my new cell, and some food on the table. JUST KIDDING!!! it feels weird without them at home. i don't like the feeling. even tho i'll prob regret my words later...haha... team usa lost to argentina in bball @ the olympics. boy, were they stinkin' it up! geez. no outside shooting whatsoever. nobody could make 3s. very pathetic. hopefully they'll get some perimeter guys in there next time. i think i'm a lil sick. i developed a cough from (tommy you'll get annoyed with me) too much air conditioner. i lowered the A/C so low & it was just hounding me when i was sleeping that i got sick. seriously. my sister said she's never been that cold. haha. i guess i'm trying to make up for all that time w/o A/C in korea. well, have a great weekend ya'll...miss those on the other side of the world. can't believe it: i just found out that my good friend's mom passed away. she was a strong Believer and i know that she's in Heaven now. makes me wanna go and hug my mom. but she's not here. she's in vancouver now, but i'll definitely give her a huge one when she gets back. r.i.p. momma lee...T.T Squirted 11:51 PM by E-J Yicheerleaders, car salesmen, & other things that make me mad: lots of drama this weekend...ok, not REALLY~ saturday morning was our Church car wash. we made $623 from 8am-2pm. but not without a fight! that day a nearby high school cheerleading squad were having a car wash too. right next to us. they were at wal-mart (huge, of course) while we were at chick-fil-a (a small location). those @#$@^%, er, girls, decide to come over to our entrance (basically our territory) and try to get pple to come to their car wash. it was aggravating to say the least. but since we were more in #, we surrounded them and basically confused alot of drivers into coming to our car wash when they thought they were supporting the cheerleaders. OH WELL. when u hear a cheerleader say, "what are they saying? why don't they speak english? why don't they go back to their own country?" you're not exactly in a Church-y mood. they eventually gave up and went back to their site. anyways, we surpassed our $500 goal so we quit and went home satisfied. car salesmen suck. they lie to your face. can't trust them as far as i can throw them. it's EXTREMELY rare to meet an honest one. i think i've only met 1 but he's not working as one anymore. well, i guess our current salesman didn't make me mad, but he's trying to play with my emotions. we put the deposit on my car and he told us it would come in after the 28th. it came in yesterday; the day my parents leave for vancouver. i can't go out and get it of course since my dad is my co-signer. i told the guy, aaron, that i couldn't come in till next week and he says, "well, i hope that nothing happens to the car." wtFREAK? i put the deposit on MY car. geez. so i told him, "well, you better make sure nothing happens to it then." what a bastard! the men's gymnastics judges: they SUCK. HARD. how can they make so many mistakes? i blame the head judge (from japan). he is screwing EVERYBODY over. he screwed the US team (telling them the day before the team competition to change their routines), not checking the messed up scores for the korean gymnast (who got the bronze in the all-around) and alexei nemov who got screwed last night on the horizontal bar (that caused a score change: crazy!). so yeah. they suck. hmph! i started school yesterday. i could barely keep myself awake. when class started, i knew why i hated college. cuz i hate studying. i guess that wouldn't be good for a future teacher but o well. i was freakin' learnin' about graphing yesterday. o.m.g. well, i guess i better get started on my HOMEWORK now. >.< and watch some more "celebrity poker". tonight's "world series of poker"! woo hoo~!
