and now for my MONTHLY update...: geez, it's been a while, huh? freakin' internet access is all jacked up here! so for now, no japan pics have been uploaded. i think you guys would rather read about what's going on with me...er, right?

so let's see...so i got a completely new schedule at school. out of the about 100 students i taught last month, i now have 4 of old ones and the rest of the kids are all new students. i wasn't really happy with that. the only saving grace part of all this was that i got 2 of my favorite students (a boy and a girl) back when i only expected to get the girl back. but still, it ain't the same and now everything's alot more uptight and strict. i guess i couldn't have things too easy, ya know? anyways, my schedule is more complicated. i have some breaks btwn classes which is great, but i end at 7:30 on tuesdays and 6:45 on thursday which messes up my eating/private tutoring schedule. oh well, i guess i couldn't have it all. i also got the possibly worst kid at my school (josh who's 6 years old), but so far he's turned out to be okay. other teachers dread teaching him and i've heard all these horror stories about him (kicking teachers, crying all the time, etc), but none of that so far. *knock on wood* :)

we also got a bunch of new teachers to accomodate the new schedule. a new korean-canadian female teacher and i seem to have a lot in common so i'm excited about that. both of us are better than the guys at korean, we're both 79s (birth year), Church-goers, and share alot of the same views which is really nice. ^.^

and since the last time i wrote, i've been back to the casino 2 times. it sounds alot worse that it really is. the 2nd time i went, i came out even. and then we went a week after b/c it was the "36th anniversary of the wh casino" so me and another friend expected some big celebration. nothing. doode, these people take ur money and they don't even give some anniversary gift? aish. i ended up losing about $30 which is my limit. but then afterwards we headed over to a teacher's one room apt and actually played blackjack and poker over there. but of course, it was with 10 cent and 50 cent coins. i made about $5 (in coins) from being the blackjack dealer. "house always wins". omg, i sound like a gambler. anyways, no more gambling for me for a while. well, that is, until julie comes. LOLz.

got some bad news: i cancelled my cooking class. i thought about it and cancelled it for 2 reasons: 1) my mom's a good cook. i can learn for free instead of paying $160. and 2) it was during my 'highlight of the week' time. every Sunday from 6-8pm, me, my cousin, and my aunt indulge in mcdonald's while watching our favorite game show, "sunday sunday night". it's the one part of the week, i really look forward to. spending time with my "family" and eating mcdonald's. how could i give that up for 3 months? i would lose that precious time. so sorry to the people i promised to cook dinner for them. well, i guess i could cook spaghetti for them. haha.

ok, i gots to go, but i'll try to update when i can. and a very belated LEAP YEAR bday to scott! how old are you now, 6? :) take care folks! (^.^)v
