off to tokyo!: ooh, can't hardly wait!!! not only a great movie, but totally the words to describe how i'm feeling right now!

sooooooooo glad it's vacation time here in korea. it's lunar new year's this week so everybody's going to their relatives' to get money. haha. i even got some before i left korea. had tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) for dinner with my aunt and uncle (dad's side) and they gave me some dough. nice. after a looooooong week of teaching winter school, i'm soooo ready for this vacation. created a new photo album with recent pics of me and my winter session kids:

totally "geeked" (gotta say that for sam & tae's sake) for my japan trip! gonna hit the hot springs, eat, shop, eat, sight see, EAT. bringing lots of dough and batteries (for my camera, of course) for the trip. doesn't even feel like i'm really going!

lots of canadians are over here in korea. the economy's real bad up there so alot of korean-canadians come over to make some money. and hanging out with them, i'm starting to pick up on their "aye" habit. instead of saying "huh" like WE (americans) do, they say, "aye?" [sounds like "A"] it's freakin' annoying b/c it came out of nowhere in the beginning, but now i find myself tempted to say "A" sometimes. i haven't yet, but that's what u get for being surrounded by those maple-leafs bearing american wannabes. haha. i'll probably get slapped for that if they saw that. if...=)

still going strong with my hip-hop class. learned over a minute, 30 seconds of lexy's 'eh song yi". i've gotten many, MANY requests by the teachers at my school to bust a move, but i don't think i could do it in front of them. infront of my hanuri EM kids, maybe, but somehow i feel so stupid infront of the faculty. maybe b/c i see them everyday. sent my sister a clip of me dancing and she and my mom laughed for 5 minutes straight. ain't families so loving? :)

mom's coming over to korea in march. and another surprise. can't say just yet, but it's pretty cool. will update after i get back with japan. lots of pics, of course! and the best part, it snowed tonight. have a great week folks! oh and it's the year of the monkey (not that i really believe in that stuff), but hopefully those "monkeys" have a good year. check out the pics, folks! (^.^)v
