almost done with my "eating list". going to macaroni grill tomorrow so i can eat their bbq chicken pizza. it's SO good. has some spicyness to it which i love.

met up with d.um (DUM), er david, for dinner @ chaucer's. a restaurant that has sushi//salads/burgers/steak and korean meat dishes like bulgogi & kalbi. yes, owned by koreans, but from the atmosphere of the restaurant and where it's located (on beltline in addison's restaurant row). david's always a hoot to hang out with. :D and we never have those awkward silences. ;)

did about 70% of my packing tonight. filled up 2 suitcases. parents were fighting over why i have to bring crap, er gifts, for whoever and stuff. dang, i don't care. just get me there. (hey, that rhymes!) ok loser.

ok, my legs are kinda sore from my ddr battles with the youth. aish. i'm pooped. gotta think about last-minute crap i have to get done. i'm out.

love you like a fat kid loves cake: that must be the "phrase". i see that EVERYWHERE on xangas, blogs, etc. does that mean he loves you so much that he could hungrily devour you? nah, i'm jk. i'm being stoopid.

had a great time last night at the pangs. YUMMY pizza (brooklyn's), hilarious trash-talking courtesy of my sister & eddie, fun times playing KILLER with the whole group, and ddr. i think we got the young ones hooked on Killer now. hehe. it's addicting man. i was killer once. i should fronted out my other killer partner so i could win. gosh darn it, i should have. played some ddr even tho it's not even close to pump. me & ho had this competition in whoever gets to 3 wins, wins. i won the first 2 and then he came back and won 3 in a row. dang, my legs were killing me and both of us were sweatin' like crazy. but it was really fun. and then i played speed scrabble with the scrabble nerds (julie, eddie, and steve). hilarious to hear eddie smack talkin'. steve, one day you'll beat us...one day. definitely made me in a better mood hanging out at the pangs. great food and great company cannot damper my mood. ;)

until....

we were going home. almost got into an accident and the kids in the car were pretty shaken up. not on the part of me driving. anyways, all is good now so i won't think about that much longer.

ok, dad's literally DRIVING ME CRAZY by making me take the "defensive driving" video course from blockbuster. aish. our 10% discount ran out on our insurance so we gotta take it again. yeah he decides to tell me this YESTERDAY. yes folks, less than 5 days until i leave. then he gets pissed off if i'm eating meals with people. argh. so monday, when i'm supposed to be packing, i'm gonna be WASTING 6 freakin' hours infront of the tv. !@#$#@$%$&^@#! i'm sooooooooooo ready to get out of here.

what the heck? kobe actually got charged? i lost alot of respect for him for cheating on his wife. whether or not he assaulted that girl remains to be seen. all i know that his image has shattered (or overjoyed) many bball fans including me. hope you learn your lesson. don't cheat on yo' woman. they'll ALWAYS find out.

catch u later. bye.

could things get any more worse today?

first this big headache in the morning. >.<

and then i had a not-so delicious lunch. i seriously thought i was going to eat something really good. something i couldn't eat in korea. not chinese or pho. if you know me, you KNOW i don't like pho. and both of them (sean and joo) were insisting that we go there. i was like, "what da heck?" so i became a B and said that i wouldn't eat if we went there. so the "next best thing" was to go to a chinese restaurant NEXT door. am i asking for too much? i wanted to eat somewhere with silverware. i wanted to eat somewhere that when i finished, i didn't smell like what i ate. i wanted to eat somewhere that i could understand the waitresses and vice versa. i wanted to eat somewhere that would make me full.

none of the above was achieved. then i go to sean's where i just sat watching korean tv shows where there were only snippets of comedy. the best thing i ate today was this red bean popsicle at his house.

i don't like to think that today's disappointment is a reflection on their characters, but i can't help it. i hate to leave with this feeling, but i can't help it. i'd like to think that they were trying to be courteous and thoughtful, but i can't help it.

i hope that hanging out with my Church people will erase this day of suckiness. =P

make like eggs and beat it!: thanks jimmy...

and also for lunch. i can cross of sonny bryan's! it was soooooooo good. omg, i like it so much better than spring creek. although i might have to admit that i like sc's bread better. but bbq sauce? not even close! it was yummy to my tummy. :)

i'm officially pissed off again.

i'll go into details a lil bit later. right now is not a good time to spill my guts. when things become more clear, i'll let ya'll know. cuz you guys would be royally pissed if you were me, too.

@#$%.

ok, let's move on to BRIGHTER, HAPPIER thoughts...

hanging out with the Church peeps tonight. brooklyn's pizza, hotdogs, and fun! :D dang i need to get some film for my camera...i want to take some lasting shots.

i went shopping yesterday with my mom and we were at neiman marcus (@ willow bend) all of a sudden this lady yells, "MIZ BAK! MIZ BAK!" it was this lady we're family friends with. well, sort of. but she acted like me & my mom were her long lost relatives or something. hugging us like crazy. it was weird. she hasn't been doing very well since her husband had an affair. it's a very sad story. after that, they were having a sale on juicy couture outfits. ya know those j.lo track outfits? $40 for the jacket. i thought about buying it, but decided not to. but i'm still thinking...

ok, i g2g now. my stomach has been upsetted by this horrible news. gotta take a crap.

make like _____ and ______!: whatever. i dunno anymore.

atleast you know they're friends. :)

had some really good luck in buying clothes for kihwan yesterday. got everything he wanted. yesss~! :) after that, i went to cpk with ann where i stuffed myself with cheese pizza, their bbq salad, chicken dumplings, and apple crisp for dessert. oof! then we went to buy some lotto tickets! it was ann's first time so i led the way~! (since my first time was monday. we're not virgins anymore.) haha. then we headed off to another gas station b/c the one we went to ran out of bingo scratch-offs. i bought one for ann and myself. we went to starbucks to scratch them and lo & behold, ann scores $15!! whoo hoo~! i didn't get anything, but it was sho' cool to see somebody win! :D all in all, a wonderful night.

today's gonna be REAL cool cuz i'm going to sonny bryan's for lunch! YUM~! then unfortunately, i'm heading off to the mall to shop for gifts for people in korea. ugh. i gotta wear my sneakers.

so now i can cross off some more places...

make like a bread truck and haul buns!: ok, i'm running out of those "make like a..." things.

today's another exciting day of packing and cleaning and organizing! yipee skippy. bah!!

actually today i'm making it out into the real world. going to the mall with julie (last day for sale at banana!) and then meeting a friend for dinner. i've started to make a list of restaurants/fast food places i want to eat before i leave...

*california pizza kitchen
*whataburger: had it yesterday
*sonny bryan's bbq
*brooklyn's pizza
*chili's
*fuddruckers
*any GOOD mexican restaurant

hopefully i'll get to cross off some more today. :)

why the heck isn't xanga working? argh. i won't be able to stalk people's lives. while i'm in korea, i'm not sure if i'm going to keep using blogger or switch to xanga. xanga's easier to update, but when it's jacked up like this, then forget it. but we'll see. blogger takes a lil more effort.

ok, i better start my day! catch u later.

wow, i'm actually updating again today.

my left wrist hurts like a mofo. i think i got carpal tunnel syndrome fo sho. ugh. it hurts to move my wrist in certain ways. ouchie. i've been rubbing icy hot on it, but it hasn't helped. somebody call a doctor.

what's up with integrity these days? last week, i go to banana and get 7 shirts for kihwan (he asked me to). after i left, i checked the receipt and found out that she only rang up 6. this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. anyways, i go back despite julie's protests ("the girl was rude"). i go and after a while, she finally says, "thanks for being honest. most people don't come back." i told her that i couldn't live with myself if i didn't. then i get a special receipt that says i call in for a customer satisfaction survey and get 10% off my next purchase. when he asked about the "experience at the cash register" i gave it a low rating of 1. when i explained my reasons, he said "you went back? really." like it was unbelieveable. didn't make me feel like i did the right thing. but i know i did in my heart. people i've talked to have been on the fence on this issue. some would go back, some would not. most say b/c of laziness.

btw, i didn't win jack from the bingo card. i came soooo close so many times. argh. maybe i'll win a couple of bucks tomorrow. HA!

anyways, catch ya'll later. (^.^)v

make like a cookie and gwa jah!: basically means that i want to leave again...

dang i had a LONG day in houston. MANY MANY MANY THANKS to my friend, chae. that boy picked me up from the airport and took me all around houston all day. what a friend! :) he took me to the passport place, medical records, back to passport, houston galleria, back to passport, korean consulate, fao schwartz, fruity drink place, and then the airport. should be getting my visa/passport on thursday. houston's galleria is very nice, but WAY too big. my feet started hurting after 30 minutes. probably b/c of my shoes tho. but one of the HIGHLIGHTS of my trip was...

I BOUGHT MY FIRST LOTTERY TICKET!! i've always wanted to, but was scared to go in there and do it since i didn't know how to. so chae, being the lottery expert, bought me my first one and showed me how to do it. i picked the numbers. MAVERICKS numbers! 4 (finley), 13 (nash), 14 (najera), 31 (van exel), 41 (nowitzki), and 19 which is my lucky number. yeah i know i won't win, but it was fun to do it anyway. chae also bought me the bingo scratch off which i'm going to do later when my dad isn't home. :) thanks chae!!!

my dad is on my nuts on everything i'm doing this week. he's being mean to me right now. probably b/c he doesn't want me to leave still, but i don't think that's the way you should treat your daughter when she's leaving for a year.

i will be pretty busy this week cleaning, packing, and errands so updates might be sporadic. <-"clueless" word. hehe.

catch ya'll later. (^.^)v
