getting stressed: argh. this whole visa thing is giving me a headache!!! i told people i'm leaving the 17th. i really hope i am. argh. it's frustrating. but i'm going, i'm going. yesterday me, julie, and a bunch of the youth group went to see "pirates of the carribbean". pretty entertaining movie. johnny depp is very funny. totally stole the show. orlando bloom looked really good, but you just wanted to see johnny depp do or say something funny. anyways, go watch if you're bored. afterwards we went to mickey d's for a late dinner. we sat outside at the tables by the playground set thingy. julie exclaimed, "it's like a school cafeteria!" cuz everybody was carrying their trays trying to decide where to sit. hehe. i definitely don't miss that feeling where you're walking in the cafeteria, looking around for a table, HOPING that someone will yell or wave you over to sit next to them. haha. uh, don't get the wrong impression...i had people to sit with at lunch. really. next we decided to do some "praise team" practice at our house. ok, we did NRB (karaoke) at our house. it was so much fun! charlie and ho sang very well and weren't shy at all! but most surprisingly was shawn, our resident cutie. omg, he sang SOOOO well~! :D has much more precise pitch and musicality than any of the boys. (well, among those i heard sing.) it was very impressive! (and totally cute, but he doesn't like hearing that.) anyways, we all had a good time clapping, laughing, and singing together. afterwards ho said, "i don't want this to end" and him and some of the boys stayed after most had left to hang out watching some of the kpop stuff that julie had on her computer. ha! them boys act like they don't like boa, but man, when i played a mpeg of her, their eyes were glued. O_O hopefully the group will keep hanging out together more even when i'm gone. britney says she lost her v-card with justin. you think that shocks anybody? *raises hand* i ALWAYS get shocked when somebody admits that or i heard of somebody who has. i dunno why. just like how sara gets shocked when couples break up. it's just one of those things... ok i better get to doing some chores today. the 'rents are coming home tonight. no more late night movies. no more sleeping in really late. no more freedom. just kidding. i'm back!: did you miss me? ha. didn't think so. dang, i had a GREAT time at JAMA. for those of you who might get bored by this topic, skip this next paragraph. :) (trying to save u time...) it took us 16 hrs to get to hotlanta. never saw so many trees on the road. there was a buttload of traffic, but it was fun. we were all psyched. the first night of praise was already awesome. almost started crying the first night. the next day we were all really tired especially me & alley who had to freakin walk all around campus to find where the heck we were. totally sucked. anyways, we listened to alot of good speakers and stuff, but we just got really tired easily. maybe it was b/c we weren't eating enough. the food SUCKS at georgia tech. my family says i lost some weight. hehe. ok ANYWAYS, back to JAMA. our group really enjoyed all the praise time and sharing time with each other. it was especially awesome to see some kids really break down and open up. i cried a few times when people were sharing and so did some of the girls. i realized alot about teens these days. they're much more sensitive than they let on. they take words MUCH more personally than i even thought they would. they listen to every word and remember it. lil insults that u don't think would affect them scar them. it's scary how much teens these days talk about image and rejection. those were the main topics of discussion they had. i just hope that us older adults can help them get over those scars. anyways, God really answered our prayers by having our group become closer with one another. hope that it lasts. some of the (inside) highlights (that i need to write for my memory): *me & alley's late night discussions *me & alley's sleepiness *loud babies (ugh!) *the praise *burning tree projekt!! (super! NOVA!) *french fries @ 1am *pizza K & free coke! *driving around GT *seeing chris from SMU *daniel and me $100 spitting bet...oops~ *coca-cola museum & free samples *fasting *______'s driving...ugh, i'm getting sick~ *big mac girl *"i believe i can fly" guy *stefan's picture taking *hanuri bball whippin some college "boys" *stayin' up all night >.< *free cokes *shawn's sleeping in the car *me & ho's "higher level thinking" aite. now onto other stuff. my parents are in yellowstone at the moment. FIRST TIME EVER they closed shop. i bowed 90 degrees to duke's parents on Sunday. in the meantime, me & julie have been glued to the tv. O_O i'll get out tomorrow. promise. been watching lots of "sex & the city". i like the show b/c it's funny & stylish. but it makes me wanna a bf. no, not b/c of THAT. i guess it's good i'm not dealing with the headaches of relationships, but a part of me wants that. maybe i'm trying to torture myself. enough "sex & the city". back to torturous korean dramas. alright i had nothing more to say. hopefully i'll get to go out before the 'rents come home. btw, what's going on with kobe?!?! =( Squirted 12:19 AM by E-J Yi
