boob tube: yeah i got yo attention. haha... i have some commentary on what i watched last night: the pulse: bill o'reilly gives his take on "who's annoying me now". he said that eminem was going to be either dead or in jail in 5 years. and he also thinks that rap will be "dinosaur in 10 years". WHAT?!?! and he cited examples of fleetwood mac & the eagles are musicians that are still around. uh HELLO?!?! LL COOL J!! BUSTA! they're old yet they're still around. he's stupid. rap won't die. THUG FOR LIFE!! (ok, i'm kidding about that.) after watching that, i decided to re-watch the p.diddy/usher/pharell williams (n.e.r.d)/busta rhymes performance at last year's mtv video music awards. it was FREAKIN' awesome!! my fav rap performance ever. everything about it was great. the beats. even the orchestra. cracks me up seeing the percussionists clapping to "bad boy 4 life". then cirque du soleil performers at the end. usher smashing the glass with his feet looking like michael jackson. the lil white kid is annoying tho. thinks that he's really good at dancing and gets up all in the camera. anyways, if i ever get enough space on the internet, i'll put it up. it's the best. primetime live: i love watching newsmagazines like "primetime live". it's so fascinating. unfortunately, it becomes interesting when it's about a horrible crime. at the expense of somebody's loss, the viewers are fascinated with a murder, rape, or both. last night was about the lsu/baton rouge serial rapist/killer. they found the suspect from a dna test that can now pinpoint with 100% accuracy the race of the killer. amazing. that bastard got locked up. but dang, forensics is scary cool. will & grace: SO much better than friends, imo. so freakin' hilarious. the guy, who was a newbie in the gay community, was a friend of will's. will tried to do that "my fair lady" thing to make the guy appear more presentable to other guys. a guy who had a thick beard & glasses suddenly goes to HOTTIE. now will & jack are gonna fight over him. haha. jack is SOOOO funny. definite scene stealer. :D canceled dinner last night b/c of scary weather. next time, pshs folks, next time.
that's G.W. falling off of one of those things where u just stand and it goes. so funny. actually cute. btw, you know who's cute? sean elliott. former san antonio spurs player, now nba tv analyst. he looks so smart & clean-looking. had a kidney transplant from his brother. how nice. watch for him on tv tonight. song of the day: p.diddy & busta - pass the courvosier (^.^)v Squirted 11:32 AM by E-J YiThursday, June 12, 2003
a word to the wise for all single guys: wow, that rhymed! anyways, read on... if you're desperate for a girl, we KNOW. we can smell it. i know several guys these days that are putting on "l'eau de desperation". i could start naming names here, but i'm too nice for that. hahahaha!! anyways, you wanna know how to get a girl? don't be interested in them. don't pay attention to them; yeah, just ignore them. it works. lately, i've been talking about this one guy who hits on every girl who breathes. if she's single, no wait, even if she's attached, she's game. but, oh! funny thing is...he doesn't HAVE ANY game. that's what makes it even MORE hilarious. so let's review: ignore the girls. they'll try to talk to you. keep ignoring. girls keep trying. right when the girls look like they're about to give up talking to you, THEN you talk. ;) and ladies, how do you save your relationship? communicate. he can't read your mind. no matter HOW many hints you drop. just tell him flat out. and if he "can't handle the truth"? then he's not worth "handling". =) ouch. i think i twisted my knee. gosh, it's raining. sux. please, please, PLEASE stop playing c.aguilera's "fighter" on the radio!!! i heard it 6x in 1 day once. and i hear it atleast 3 times a day. i'm NOT exaggerating. argh. Squirted 3:09 PM by E-J Yii'm a dork: cuz i couldn't think of anything clever as a title... I AM VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRY SORRY!!! when i wrote about meeting up in plano @ cpk, i should have been more clear. and i feel like a big LOSER, #@%$, for doing this, but it's for plano senior high grads. i've had several people ask me and every single time i feel like going into fetal position and hiding under my bed. i'm REALLY sorry. please forgive me. >.< but if you want to eat there, of course, i can't stop you. =) i hate my computer at work. i have to reboot it a couple of times each day b/c either my mouse is sucking it up or the computer gets messed up and it erases slow. ok, i guess the "i'm a dork" title applies here. yesterday i watched the oh-so-boring nba finals. just parts of it. it actually got a LIL interesting, a LIL, b/c the spurs were coming back. good thing they didn't. it's one of the most boring bball series i've ever seen. lots of bad shooting. *yawn* sucks that the mavericks aren't in it. they're 100000000x more fun to watch. i'm starting to hate IMing. i used to LOVE getting on AIM. why? b/c it's a FREE, fun way to keep in touch with people far away. it's a great invention, but i hate how words can be misinterpreted. things can come out mean when you don't want them to or whatever. what's worse is that you can copy and paste things others have said and tell/show others. yeah, i'm guilty of this in the past, but now i don't want to be IMing too much anymore. it's not like i don't like the people i'm talking to, but man, words can be very tricky. i guess i'll get my wish in about 7 days, but yeah...i'm tired of IMing. last night, julie, me, loretta, and david had dinner together @ seoul garden. it was pretty good. found out that loretta and me have alot of things in common. we both wear same types of makeup (mac foundation, korean-brand powder), hate wearing lipstick (we both don't own any) or anything shiny, and we both seem to like the same types of yangyum (dressing/sauce) in our food. dang, loretta, when or if you come to korea, i gotta take u to this one place which i absolutely love. yum! anyways, we had some good laughs and i enjoyed it. i'm almost at the point of giving up my dream of getting a digital camera. my sister said i could have her canon elph that uses advantix film. i would love this, but i'm not positive that korea has/can develop this type of film. then it would be a big waste. eddie told me that his digital camera doesn't take good action shots which is a BIG negative for me since i take a majority of my pics on the fly. the elph is great at taking action pics (or maybe it's me! haha) so i need that luxury. then again, if i had a digital camera, i could just delete my crappy ones. oh well, we'll see. maybe i'll just end up getting a cheap one in korea. ooh, i can't wait to go! :) this lady who used to work here just came by for a visit. she lost freakin' 30 lbs since she left. all b/c of jenny craig! i guess that thing really DOES work. she looks so skinny now. dang, i wish i could lose about 15 lbs. hey, maybe i'll lose some weight when i get my teef pulled. ugh, maybe not. i ate fries & wendy's nuggets when i first got my braces. i LIVE through pain!! muahahahha. i joined friendster. it's like AA. lots of asians on there. seems like mostly viets. lots of anhs, linh, etc. added a couple of friends (loretta, david, gina, joo) and boom! you're connected to all these people. i think i'm connected to like 8,000+. weird. alright, it is time for my first reboot of the day. #$%$%^! song of the day: se7en - i just wanna be (^.^)v Squirted 10:58 AM by E-J YiWednesday, June 11, 2003

hungry, hungry, hippo: u remember this game? me & julie used to play this all the time. almost breaking the board by slamming the black lil butt tails on the hippos trying to eat all the white marbles. anyways, i feel hungry as a hippo right now... ok, i FINALLY got my danged contract. i haven't signed it yet b/c they're being sheisty. not wanting to pay me alot for housing allowance. they should pay me about $500 per month. there's this one place near where i'll live that pays about $900 per month. no brainer, u say? that place is freakin' hard core. they fire teachers left and right, but they pay awesome. they fire you for not teaching correctly. they fire people for being late. and they have no qualms about firing ivy-leaguers, too. no job security, but awesome pay. i guess i'll stick with what i have. if i can't stand it no mo', then maybe i'll try my hand at this other place. but for now, the ball is rolling. yesss~! :) if you haven't read today's entry from rosie's page, it's freakin' hilarious. omg, it's hilarious. :D it takes guts to be that open. you're my hero!! haha. if you're in plano, we're having dinner @ cpk (in willow bend mall) at 5:45 on thursday, june 12th. be there if u want. =) song of the day: jewel - intuition...this is freakin' stuck in my head. 10 days and counting...: can't wait to bust outta here!! had a pretty fun weekend... friday: hung out @ Church and watched Drumlline. loved it over again. nick cannon is so talented. the movie gets me all pumped up and nostalgic. probably falls on deaf ears on those who haven't been part of something like that. nevertheless, a GREAT movie. one of my favs. saturday: woke up kinda early to take care of errands. i go copy my diploma and take it to washington mutual (my bank) to get it notarized and the punks there say that they can't notarize anything but signatures. stupid bastards. the branch manager is such a freakin' jerk, he didn't even bother to look up or acknowledge my presence. so i stormed out of there. i'm not going to that branch anymore. punks. i finally got it notarized at a mailing place (expensive) and went to wal-green's to get passport pics taken. didn't come out as well as i wanted. dang, i even took a shower for it. JK! o well. i'm just sending those mugs in. spent most of the day cleaning up my room. a vast improvement. evening came and me, julie, alley, da mee, and da jin met up at sura. rosie, i think i was there at the same time as you!! we were upstairs and there was this big reception goin' on and we heard karoake singing & stuff. so funny how close we probably were and didn't realize it. anyways, we got some crap-a$$ service @ sura. since my sister was paying for it, she left a $5 tip. i'm too scared to do stuff like that, but she said she would have left 2 pennies if she REALLY wanted to. scary. anyways, we go to komart and grab some snacks & drinks to take to the family nrb since we're cheap like that. haha. so we stuffed all our snacks into julie's bag and get a (kinda small) room. it happens all the time, but it's kinda awkward at first, but soon, we were all jumping up and down, screaming and singing at the top of our lungs. and with no alcohol. i bet people thought we were drunk. haha. :D anyways, we had a fun time. driving home, my dad calls to ask where we are. julie said, "we're on our way home." "WHERE. ARE. YOU.", he says. "35 and BELTLINE!!" SHEESH! i KNOW i made the right decision to go to korea. dang. sunday: made a more formal announcement that i was leaving. stayed around and played with the kids a bit. carolyn lets me hold her now. :) this ahjumma who NEVER talks to me or even looks in my direction (when i USED to bow to her) all of a sudden comes up to me... rude lady: hey, joyce, do you know where i can get a 1-inch thick permanent black marker? me: [hello! supply closet] jahl moh rue gess ssuh yo (i'm not really sure). rude lady: oh, there's this store near the vietnam plaza grocery... me: [looking at her puzzled] rude lady: you know? next to auto zone. further down. me: [blank stare] okay. rude lady: can you go get me one? 1 inch thick...maybe they won't have an exact inch thick... me: juh, gi gahp ob neun deh yo (i don't have my wallet). rude lady: oh. hmm. uh tuk keh gi (what am i going to do)? me: geh sohng hahm nee dah. (i'm sorry.) HECKKKKKKKKKKK no, i'm not sorry!! yeah i lied and i felt a lil bad afterwards, but not that much. first of all, WHY CAN'T SHE GET IT? second of all, WHY DO I HAVE TO SPEND MY MONEY? i seriously would have gotten it if she gave me money, but she didn't offer any money or crap. so HECKKKKKKK no. linda was there and would have offered me money she said, but she could tell that i didn't want to go. it was hilarious. =) this lady is one of the rudest, weirdest ladies at our Church. maybe this isn't the "Christian thing" to do, but when she starts being nice to others, maybe others will be nice back. and trust me, i've tried to be nice, but she doesn't give a flying flip. i told my parents and they didn't see anything wrong with what i did. so yay me! haha. today's loretta's first day here. i hope she enjoys it. :) will be meeting her up for lunch today. early lunch for me. hi sara. *muah* *waves* song of the day: lil kim feat 50-cent - magic stick (^.^)v Squirted 11:15 AM by E-J Yi
