What Sort of Hat Are You? I am a Baseball Cap.I am a Baseball Cap.

I enjoy sports, either to partake or to spectate. I have something of an all-American personality. I am a consumer, witness my power. What Sort of Hat Are You?

i dunno about this..

bad HAIR day: you know that old joke? "hey, did you get a haircut?" "no, i got them all cut". there are some of us who can't let that go *cougheddiecough*. well, in the spirit of eddie, i am telling you that i had a bad hair day. ONE of my hairs got caught in the hair dryer (where the fan is rotating) and it hurt like a mofo. it's amazing that even with all that hair, just one lil tug on one strand can make your eyes water. >.<

thanks duke~! it was nice hearing from you. :)

ouch! for guys!

a woman at work puts up a daily quote for everybody in the dept to read. and there have been some really good ones:

Did you hear the one about where the buddist asked the hot dog vendor to make him one with everything?

Think like a man of action, act like a man of thought.

today's: I put on a blank tape at full blast and the mime next door went crazy. that's a quote from george carlin. figures.

and my personal favorite: A closed mouth gathers no feet. said by a former co-worker's grandmother. how wise. i need to adhere to that. =X

i have drum lessons today, but i don't feel like it. =P i got to drive all the way back to plano after work & THEN drive back home to pick up julie & THEN go up towards smu to sam's. that's like too much driving for me. =\ i better call rob. plus, i didn't practice much.

who's going to win "the bachelor"? i'm guessing brooke, but i'm kinda not caring anymore. totally missed 'survivor' yesterday, too. oh well.

OMG. ann! did you watch the concert for world's children's day? nick sang VERY well. i was sooo happy last night. =D those of you who didn't see it, you can buy it here. man it's kinda expensive. $20. and nick only sang once. enrique sang 3 times. they're re-showing it on the abc family channel on tuesday. (check your local listings.) oh THIS is funny. my mom read in a newspaper article that enrique said that he was going to stay a virgin until he got married because he didn't to be like his father, a infamous womanizer. i loled when my mom said this. i told her, "if you think he's a virgin, then i've got some beach front property in kansas to sell you..." she looked at me with a blank stare and said, "you have land?" *gosh* nevermind! sarcasm never goes over well with the 1st generation. =]

5 q's (cuz i'm bored...taken from a long time ago~)
1. Were you raised in a particular religious faith?
yes, as in Christianity, but no particular denomination. but if we had to be really specific, a lil baptist.

2. Do you still practice that faith? Why or why not?
yes, i do b/c i'm surrounded by those who keep me in check. esp the young adults. even though i try hard & fail to not sin, it's always in the back of my mind. do/should i be doing this?

3. What do you think happens after death?
some of us go to Heaven, some of us go to Hell. plain as that.

4. What is your favorite religious ritual (participating in or just observing)?
i like singing praise songs b/c i love singing (even though i'm not that great.) some of the prettiest melodies are in praise music. even though i feel that pop & rap music probably gets in my head alot more.

5. Do you believe people are basically good?
no, i don't believe so. we were all born inherently evil, but some of us don't know it yet. there are people with kind hearts who think of others more than themselves seemingly unselfishly, but there is always, even if a grain of, selfish motives. maybe i'm being too negative, but that's what i think. until you actually believe, you truly do understand what it is like to be unselfish.

alright, that's my soapbox for the day. *climbing down from my soapbox*

dang i wrote freakin' too much. like that's new~ i'll probably write more later. (^.^)v

i knew it!: haha...read on~

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The operators of Miss Cleo's psychic hot line agreed Thursday to cancel $500 million in customer bills to settle federal charges that the service fleeced callers while promising mystical insights into love and money.

THIS is what i knew: Florida authorities have a civil case pending against the service's spokeswoman, Youree Dell Harris, known in advertising as the Jamaican mystic "Miss Cleo." During a deposition in June, Harris repeatedly invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, refusing to discuss a birth certificate that shows she was born in Los Angeles to American parents.

i told julie: "you know her accent fades in and out." it really did. that's hilarious. ^.^

man, there are some people at work that i just can't STAND!! argh. she just pissed me off again. !#$^%^$&^

ooh i had to minimize my blogging window for that. hehe...

i had a great lunch with cindy. i ate my wendy's mandarin salad. and it was good. and we had some fun talking. :)

ok another woman has just pissed me off. what da @#$#@%^?????? she called me JULIE 3x today. "oh thank you very much lynda" (not her name.)

haha. lol. that's sad, dude.

aite. stuff to do...(^.^)v

okay i didn't know what that last quiz said on it until i posted it. =\: anyways, here is another one! :)

My Romance Meter

Optimist 50%
..
50% Cynic
Close 59%
..
41% Distant
Long Term 69%
..
31% Brief
What does my romance meter read?

dang, it's a long morning. only 10 and i am about to fall asleep. >.<

yesterday i watched the j.lo interview. pretty interesting. even though i don't think her marriage with ben will last more than 2 years, it does seem like she really is in love. even though they don't seem to match each other, she says she respects him for being smart and says that they had a similar upbringing. oh well. and she couldn't resist the ring. oh that pink diamond. personally, i don't like pink, but since it's rare, hey~ any girl would love that. btw, i think she's so pretty. kinda gross to be flashing her boobies all over the place (i.e. m/v for "jenny from the block") though...

yesterday's dept meeting was okay. dane' (pronounced 'danny') gave a great presentation. he's so hilarious. everybody was cracking up like crazy. made me wish that i had good presentation skills. i just don't like doing them. i don't think i get really scared or anything. well, a lil nervous. but i'd rather have someone else talking and i do the powerpoint stuff.

programming note: ann, nick carter will be on abc tonight @ 7. some disney special.

aite. i've run out of things to say. again. man nobody ever writes me emails anymore. =*(

another lovely quiz:

g.o.d
What male k-pop group are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

annoyed with myself: guess how many times i have gone to the bathroom since 8am? 4. and i only drank a capri-sun. what's wrong with me??

i am a news junkie. i think it's b/c of the free time i have on my hands, but man. i love reading weird stories and fascinating breaking news. and i've gotten into alot of sports news lately. especially how a-rod was "robbed" of the american league's mvp. amazing. baseball players of america voted him the best, but baseball writers, don't? that don't make no sense to me. (in a hick accent)

i am tempted to look for another job. something that my parents wouldn't be really happy about. and my stomach gets in knots just thinking about it. and i don't even know if the position is still open!! =\

today is my first departmental meeting. we're having a thanksgiving luncheon. it's supposed to last 3 hrs. wow. lots of eating will be going on. =O *chomp chomp*

i guess i have run out of things to say. oh gosh. i'm so bored. =\

insight/hope: i got this from david choi's aa site. (even though he will never read this.)

"Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don`t want to reach for the good ones, because they`re afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren`t as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think that there is something wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. That is why we just have to be a little patient, and the right boy - the one who takes a chance to find the good, right apple - will come someday..."

nice, isn't it? :)

ann i don't even remember doing that 17 roses for you. are you sure that was me? i would *think* i would remember something like that, but that's so strange that i don't. i hope you're not mad at me for not remembering, but gosh. i'm glad i did something nice for you. you deserve it! :D

ever since i started working i've been listening to espn 103.3 fm during lunch & after work. it's quite informative. i've grown to enjoy dan patrick & chuck cooperstein. both ugly, old guys with nice voices. but they're fun to listen to. i wish i could win the "ultimate mavs fan contest". you win:

Two seats on the Mavericks team plane for a road trip with games in Portland, LA and San Francisco

You'll be the MVP of a home game with two courtside seats, limo transportation, ESPN 103.3 FM Game Day Girl escorts to the game, a meet and greet with a Mavericks player, two Mavs jerseys and a party in your honor at the Mavericks Club

AND you'll win two season tickets to every Dallas Mavericks home game this season.

that's AMAZING. and grace is trying so hard to win. they don't EVER call out a woman's name. it's just WRONG.

if anybody saw the highlights of the lsu vs kentucky game, you KNOW that college football CAN be exciting. how hilarious. what fools! haha. up there on my list of amazing finishes. if you don't know what i'm talking about, look it up on espn and you'll see how exciting the game can be.

another wonderful quiz, ann! :)

I am a beta!
Are you an alpha, beta, or gamma girl?

i picked up my tickets yesterday from brian. seems like a very nice guy. :)

the day is going by ever-so-slowly...

time to sign up for that mavs contest. GO MAVS! (^.^)v

3rd times a charm...: more like a beat down right? yeah i'm bored. deal. :)

i had a weird dream last night. i dreamt that me, sean, and peter went to an art college. i even remember what sean was wearing. he was wearing a cream-colored chunky ribbed turtleneck that kinda looked angora-ish with dark green carpenter pants. i don't even like turtlenecks. how weird. anyways, in one of our classes, sean & peter decide to start wrestling for fun. they looked like they were having fun. then the teacher broke it up b/c the bell rang to go to the next class. i don't know where peter went, but me & sean start walking to another building which i believe was a photography building. i see all these artsy-fartsy looking pics and even distinctly remember a lower shot of a green backpack taken in the style of those nike ads. then this guy was hanging from his backpack from the ceiling and people were walking by like, "what da heck?", but he claimed it was artistic, too. then sean and i parted ways and he left down the hall with his messenger bag. how weird!!!

today i'm meeting up with a guy to get the mavs tickets. if i don't come home, his name is brian hall and he's from colleyville. nah, he sounds like a nice guy.

i saw a rainbow yesterday driving home. i wonder if it means anything. (^.^)v

networking: busy weekend...

friday night: got in a fight. didn't go to Bible study. it was about how to have a Christian home. how ironic.

saturday: went to drum lesson. got praised for my skillz. jk. but he said it was refreshing to have a student that wants to learn & actually practices. i've NEVER heard that comment since i've been playing piano since 5. amazing. then i went to eat lunch with lori, a friend from smoo. was planning on going to awaji for their absolutely worth it bento lunch, but alas, i had a brain fart & forgot that they don't open saturday for lunch. they're losing too much business that way i think. so we went to chili's where i had good lettuce wraps & tostada chips. yum! :) i picked up ho & won and we went to sonic for their lunch & my dessert. then we 3 went to sam's and they helped me out with groceries. afterwards, i headed over to minjae's to drop off a newspaper & chatted for a while. then i went to guitar center to pick up my new drum practice pad. it's so awesome. it has beads inside of it to make it sound like a snare. =D then i headed over to cpk to eat with cindy, her friend joe, and steve & linda shin. it was good seeing the shins again. linda made me lol when she said this about that particular locker room scene in the movie, "any given sunday": "...since i'm pretty innocent, people were trying to cover my eyes in that scene, but i wanted to see and i said, 'what is an elephant doing in the locker room?!?!'..." dang. that is lol if you know what i'm talking about. afterwards, i didn't feel like joining them to watch "the ring" (which julie said it wasn't that scary) so i headed over to the wons' place to watch michigan football. i learned about the little brown jug. tradition is cool. even if it is a water jug. :) came home pooped, but it was a good day to meet all kinds of people.

sunday: Church and jinbeh. jinbeh wasn't all that and i was disappointed. plus my parents (with me sitting in between them) strike up a conversation with a couple at the sushi bar. they end up making plans to go eat yet gol next week. turns out the husband is a former CIO of IBM. alas, no hook-ups there...well, maybe. *shrug*

i realized i am loyal to 2 schools. actually 3. plano, of course. and UT & Michigan. even though i didn't attend these schools, much less even visit michigan, i love both of them. cuz of the tradition and the color schemes. haha. burnt orange is cool and so are the people. and love EVERYTHING about michigan's designs. well, except for those helmets. a lil bit TOO bold for me. nah, it's tradition. i like it. =)

btw, on saturday when i went to cpk, my noon-chi wasn't working. noon-chi means my fast observing skills. well, they were & weren't. i thought it strange that cindy insisted that i come to dinner when i didn't feel like it. (the wons' had asked me to eat with them, too.) when i got the restaurant and was about to sit down next to my sister, they tell me to sit next ot her friend, joe. i thought this strange b/c the way the seating would work out, linda & steve (who are married) would end up sitting across from each other & not next to each other. i hoped that it wasn't anything more than that. i was wrong. cindy asks me yesterday, "what do you think of joe?" oh great. julie knew it the whole time too. i probably was too honest (=mean) to cindy about him and i apologize. but i wasn't feeling "it" with him and didn't give him much thought after i met him. and if they had told me, i probably would have been better dressed & probably talked to him more. oh well. sorry cindy. but thanks for thinking of me. =)

if you want to see what i've been working on go here and here. these companies are just 2 of the many my company owns. =) (btw, they're not that exciting...)

eminem opens with $54.4 mil. wow. definitely gotta see that.

aite. have a cool "learn about me" thing later. (which i know ann will probably fill out too.) (^.^)v
