had a pretty good day. bbq went well. no deer in headlights for me. G took care of me and i'm forever thankful.

ugh, but so much traffic to deal with on the way home. argh. don't have much gas either. =\

got Bible study tonight. better end this short b/c it's time to leave soon. sorrie. will write more later.

writer's block: man, i haven't written in a while. well, i'm going to try to get back to it. actually i should be writing the kids from prison back first. that's right. i correspond with kids from prison. they're nice kids, but ya know...they've had a dark past. i'm hoping to get them past it and look up to the future. omg, that sounded soooo freakin' cliche. oh well.

tomorrow's the big bbq lunch at work tomorrow for employee appreciation week. i feel like tomorrow will be like the 1st day of jr high (or for me hs) when you're looking where to sit. i'm slowly getting to know people here so that is why i'm kinda worried. =\ wish me luck.

man, H just cracks me up. i go over to their house and H is just saying some hilarious things. unfortunately i don't remember any of them right now...oh wait. he said (supposedly jokingly), "what do me and this shoe (new shoe(s) that he got for his upcoming HC) have in common?" "wut" "we're both good-looking." oh and when his friend called, "hey, H, what are we going to do at HC?" H: "me, i'm going to be looking good." omg.

yesterday i saw 'the bachelor' and was EXTREMELY disappointed with this season's bachelor. not going to watch. i'd rather watch when Trista comes out.

lolness: justin timberlake came out on the radio and basically said that britney and him slept together. lol. he didn't say exactly those words, but he basically said it. just so that a radio station would play his song 30x a week. what da heck? wild 100.3 here plays it 30x a DAY. he's stoopid.

i'm debating whether or not to go to the video store. i'm really tired. i've gotten like 6 or less hrs of sleep each night. can u believe that? and i don't drink coffee or sodas in the morning to wake me up.

i'm excited about going to austin! i bought my ticket for oct 18th and not coming back until Sunday morning. heck yeah! just gotta tell the 'rents. hahaha. still haven't done that!

oh yeah...interesting: O-TOWN was at smu today. shooting a music video. julie said they were ugly and saw them like 3x. they ate lunch with their headsets on and julie thought that was stoopid. i dunno. maybe they didn't want to mess up their hair (?).

worker's comp: seriously. i should be collecting. just today i jammed my middle right finger so freakin' hard that i thought it was going to bleed off. then i had a cut (from i dunno where) underneath my other middle finger. guess i can't flick anybody off today. jk. but i also want one of those thingys that you put infront of your screen to reduce the glare & eye stress. i need it. i sit infront of the computer ALL day long. i'm going to get coke bottles within the next year. O_O (coke bottle eyes)

anyways, i watched "american idol: live in las vegas" yesterday. sucked like a mother. even kelly singing with reba didn't help. but later on that night, she sang "before your love" on jay leno (i didn't want to watch him...was waiting for conan) and she was awesome! :D

i feel myself gaining more weight these days. not a good sign. i haven't been consistent with pilates. blah!! i better get to it.

i've again lost my will to write. probably b/c of lack of sleep. only 10 hrs the past two days. O_O (zombie eyes)

man, can't wait to go to austin!

missed opportunity! right when i get in the car, i heard dan patrick (espn radio) saying "thanks chris...that was chris simms of the ut longhorns joining us today". gosh darn it. sorry A. =\

but man, the weather is soooo nice out here right now. the wind is blowing hard enough for a nice breeze, but not too strong as to muss up your hair. :)

some of my insights from watching the 2002 emmys award show:
1. conan o'brien is a genius. (go to link on his harvard speech. it's LOL.)
2. i teared up 3x: when oprah got a humanitarian award. ray romano's dad wiped away tears after his son won. and when the show was over b/c i was sad to see COB leave. (jk)
3. sex and the city cast knows how to dress...well, sexy.
4. garry shandling is funny, too.
5. jay leno sux.
6. ended earlier than i thought.
7. there's no point to this list...

alright i'm stopping. i feel like i have writer's block once again. over the weekend, i thought, "i have so much to write about!" maybe i'll think of it when i get home. time to leave anyway.

just plain tired: couldn't fall asleep last night. got only 4.5 hrs of sleep. now you know what that does to me.

lots of things happened this weekend:
1) dinner @ K & YC's. nice house. too many babies though. but good food & company. can't believe YC bought a $3600 tv. i guess you can't blame him, he's a doc.
2) "neh sah rang pat ji" is OMG good!! looks very promising...
3) went shopping yesterday. bought 5 shirts/sweaters. big deal for me. most with approval by julie.
4) K, man...heck with it! KEVIN, an unruly, rebellious 6th-grader at my church is going to get "it" soon. decides to talk back to julie during service and whispers to his kid sister "you don't have to listen to her". J is gonna lay the smackdown. i hope. atleast make him cry or something.
5) watched the entire emmys. never done that before. why? two words: CONAN O'BRIEN. he was good and if you missed the whole thing about him, jennifer aniston, and brad pitt, you missed out on some genius work. oh & the whole "price-is-right" crash. "DON'T STOP THE WHEEL!!!" LOL.
6) bought my plane ticket for austin. haven't even told the 'rents yet. anyhoo, gonna be there friday morning to sunday morning. oct. 18-20th. yay! :D
